Episode 66: Jehovah Nissi

Join Lisa and Laura for our series Names of God. In biblical times, names were of great importance—they conveyed a person’s essence, history, nature, or character. As we explore the various names of God in the Old Testament, we gain insight into His character. With each name, we will learn a new attribute, deepening our understanding of and growing closer to God. In today’s episode, we explore our fourth name, Jehovah Nissi—the Lord, my banner. This episode is for those times when you need a victory or a win—when it feels like the battle is going on and on and all you want to do is give up. Jehovah Nissi is who we call when we’re in the trenches, the mud is past our ankles, and hope is out of focus.
